International students often make decisions with limited access to authentic, relatable perspectives. This session shares practical strategies for designing ambassador programs that increase trust, improve access to student voices, and support more equitable international recruitment.
By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

Identify key barriers international students face when seeking authentic, relatable information during the recruitment and enrollment process.

Design more equitable international ambassador programs that provide prospective and admitted students with access to current students, alumni, faculty, and staff across diverse backgrounds, regions, identities, and academic interests.

Apply practical strategies for scaling peer-to-peer engagement without significantly increasing staff workload, including ambassador selection, training, moderation, and ongoing management.

Use student conversation themes and engagement data to better understand international student needs, improve recruitment messaging, and support students across the funnel.

Evaluate the role of technology and AI in expanding access to human-centered engagement while preserving authenticity, trust, and institutional oversight
